I have quite a few engagements to share, and now that our move to Seattle is complete I have time to show off this recent session. Erin and Brent wanted to begin their session near home, in Downtown Los Angeles. I LOVE shooting couples there because the downtown area is so diverse, with so many fun and interesting backdrops and places. We shot a good amount at the beautiful metal clad structure Walt Disney Concert Hall, and then strolled over to the Dorothy Chandler Pavilion for some photos near their ground fed water fountain.

As the sun began to set we completed the session at Erin’s alma mater, USC. The campus was pretty quiet (a weekend in non-football season will do that) so we were able to get some great intimate shots. Erin and Brent are tying the knot this coming September in Huntington Beach, and I am very much looking forward to their wedding day! I  will keep this post short and sweet. My wife Sarah and I have relocated ourselves and our businesses to the beautiful Seattle area. I took the photo above on one of my first trips to Seattle back in 2004. It was love at first sight!

I will still be in Southern California throughout the year for my previous bookings, and will be available for family and weddings in Orange County area as well. I will also offer very affordable travel rates for weddings in the Orange, Los Angeles, and San Diego counties!

Christina and Gregg’s ceremony and reception was held at the Bowers Museum in Santa Ana, CA. The original museum was built in the 1930′s and has had some beautiful renovations made to certain parts of the property. The new wing that was added in 2007 is the indoor option for the reception portion at Bowers, and it is beautiful.

I had an awesome time documenting Christina and Gregg’s wedding day throughout this venue. From their emotional ceremony to the Top Gun “You’ve lost that loving feeling” re-enactment on the dance floor, their day was beyond special. Thanks to Hoffmann for having me along to 2nd shoot for him!
