Since Gina is a San Pedro local she knew all the cool spots for her engagement photos, and spots both of them had explored together. Our next location was the Historic Point Fermin Lighthouse and Park, built back in the late 1800′s. Obviously the park had some beautiful old trees and the light was gorgeous.

After we stopped for a bite to eat together at this damn good sandwich shop (it’s good to have some local knowledge!) we dropped down by the Harbor and got some photos in an old pretty much abandoned shipping district. It’s safe to say we had a great time during our session, and I am getting more excited by the day to get on over to Catalina on St. Patty’s day for their wedding!

Tyler is one dang cute 15 month old, and his wonderful mom Jessica wanted some updated portraits of Tyler. Jess wanted to me to capture all of the funny, quirky, and downright laugh out loud funny faces Ty has been making lately. Jessica also wanted to create a fun Valentine for Tyler to send out to all his girlfriends! Cheers to a wonderful 2012!

I wanted to post some photos of my incredible niece Taylor Cox performing at the Cottage Gallery in Laguna Beach. Taylor scored her first paid gig, and played everything from Christmas tunes to Van Morrison’s “Brown Eyed Girl” during her two hour set. She entertained all of the art browsers and brought in quite a few passerby with her melodies, quite the talent. Taylor is blind, but that doesn’t prevent her from exploring and advancing in her true passion: Music! All the donations, proceeds, and tips from her performance are being donated to a group very dear to her and the Cox family’s heart, the Blind Children Learning Center. I hope you enjoy some photos of a very fun, art-filled, and musical evening.
