Whenever someone would talk to Jake before the ceremony and ask how he was doing, you could just feel it before he said anything, that he just wanted to marry his girl. They were both so excited to begin their married life together, the excitement was truly contagious, and that’s how Janel and Jake’s wedding story began…

Janel and Jake were married in a quaint little town named Camas in southern Washington. They chose the Zion Lutheran church to share their vows and have their ceremony. From the classic car that Jake and Janel left the church in, to the heartfelt speeches of those closest to them, their day was filled with amazing moments of love. I couldn’t help but feel like I was part of something really special and cool. Their reception was held at the Royal Oaks Country Club in Vancouver, Washington.

It was also awesome to travel up to the Pacific Northwest, and squeeze in an fun family session with my brother’s family before we flew back to SoCal. Little Levi was all about having some fun in leaves, check out those photos here.

What an awesome couple and now husband and wife! Goretti and Michele, like my wife and I, actually met online (through e-harmony). They instantly hit it off, and I feel like we totally did too and have some really cool images of their beautiful wedding day to show for it. Goretti and Michele were married in the oldest Mission in California, the Mission Basilica San Diego de Alcala. I know, a little bit of a mouthful but what a beautiful venue! After the ceremony we headed out to an amazing property nestled in the hills in Riverside complete with Orange groves, cactus farms… everything you could think of! Thanks to my 2nd shooter Mike Villa for braving some brutal traffic and contributing some great images all day.

Everything about their wedding day was top notch and amazing to be a part of and document for them. They had a Mariachi band outside the chapel after the ceremony, another Mariachi band at the ceremony, and then a complete Band complete with steel drums and everything after that. There was definitely good food, great drinks, and an amazing time had by everyone. Goretti and Michele are such a truly genuine and loving couple who are continuing their life as husband and wife!

Gabby and Jason were married at the very picturesque Ponte Winery in Temecula, CA. Temecula wine country will always hold a special place in my heart because it is where my wife Sarah and I were married (although at a different winery in the area). When Steve Hoffmann asked if I wanted to head out for Gabby and Jason’s Thursday wedding to 2nd shoot for him I told him I was most definitely in. Everything went right, it was a beautiful evening in the vineyards for their vows and the winery provided some much needed shade for the guests with some umbrellas. Gabby and Jason were alot of fun to hang out with and document their day, and the beautiful light on the winery property in the vineyards and in the gardens was spectacular.
